Imagine how excited author Terry McMillan will be to learn she and José Canseco share the same outlook on the Supreme Court. Canseco’s afraid SCOTUS will “act its age” rather than embrace change, and it seems McMillan, 61, also thinks that it takes younger minds to keep up with a changing America. Funny how few celebs complained that SCOTUS had too much power when it upheld Obamacare.
Why is it anybody’s business who you marry?

If the justices decide to strike down Proposition 8 and DOMA as unconstitutional, will they still be considered “too old” (and white, and male)? We’ll have to wait and see.

Breaking: Letting Old White guys serve till they die is not a good way to achieve progress. #SCOTUS

@isupremecourt : Some of you too old bigots need to leave the SCOTUS and make room for people that can still think.

Scalia is old and out of touch. This is why we need terms for SCOTUS
— Dan Compo (@dcompo) March 26, 2013
Hey, SCOTUS! If you nine old farts don’t want to make the tough decisions, try resignation instead!
— Jason Cook (@AdoboHamburger) March 26, 2013
SCOTUS: Alito, Scalia, Thomas, & Roberts show themselves 2 be the old bigoted men they are. Kennedy spineless as usual. #MarriageEquality

For what it’s worth, Justice Alito is 62.
